Why this farm?
As part of the other understanding of the Noam farm experience, every volunteer can choose at first how much time to work each day and what tasks to do.
The place can accommodate those who want to live simpler, more original, closer.
Capable of seeing and perpetuating the gap of modern life to the life of our times, to what is our physiological structure - the need for the sun, contact with the soil, plants and animals. How many of us feel that modern life is not really healthy, wrong with us, lacking, wanting to connect, meet, feel?
Farm life does not require many laws and rigid man-made, but to know what nature wants and how we can channel its powers.
The farm does allow for mutual guarantee, healthy food, exposure to nature, teamwork or single jobs.Living in a place on the horizon - in Noam, near Kiryat Gat.
We are a growing community and aim to accommodate a small community of 5-10 people, we choose to live an ecological life in a shared space, while everyone has their own privacy. The idea is to live by the principles of a sustainable lifestyle (permaculture) - a life with as little dependence on external factors, in a supportive community living together.
Permaculture is a set of design principles centered on whole systems thinking, simulating, or directly utilizing the patterns and resilient features observed in natural ecosystems. It uses these principles in a growing number of fields from regenerative agriculture, rewilding, and community resilience.
